
Mission Statement
Codealyst is a nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the computer science gender gap! We aim to help close the gap by hosting a variety of events targeted at middle school and high school girls, including (but not limited to) hackathons, STEM fairs, workshops, summer camps, mentorship programs, and more!
Meet the Team

Emily Huynh is a tech enthusiast who enjoys learning new concepts and helping others understand those concepts! She has been coding in Python for about four years and has both taken classes and self-studied various computer science and machine learning algorithms. As a Girls Who Code officer and tutor, Emily has experience teaching groups of students and helping students one-on-one. Emily is passionate about machine learning and computer science and aims to express and light a similar passion in students!
Sharanya Ramanujan enjoys working with children and her peers to spread her love for technology and computer science. She is passionate about solving problems in various coding languages and is always ready to share her love for the subject with others. She has experience tutoring middle schoolers and her peers and looks forward to spreading the joy of computer science to young minds!

Liyen Ho has always loved solving problems and working with others to gain a deeper appreciation of what is at hand. She has coded in Python for 3 years, taking both formal and informal classes to further pursue her interest! With her experiences of tutoring elementary school students as well as other high school students, Liyen has the skill to help students one-on-one to further their personal growth!
Sarah Hwang loves art and designing and enjoys communicating and interacting with people. She loves helping others and also learning new skills along the way!
Nikila Madabhushi loves interacting with people in all settings and enjoys the thrill of helping others learn new things. She is interested in communications--you can contact her at msnikila@gmail.com.

Anu Venkatesh is very passionate about math and learning, and she loves teaching and helping others understand new concepts. She has been coding in Python for two years and is especially interested in data science, which she is self-learning in her free time. She also has experience helping children learn new math concepts, as she has been tutoring one-on-one for over three years. Other than that, she loves reading, writing, and playing piano in her free time.

Adria Jew is passionate about children and math. Although her knowledge of coding is very limited, she is eager to learn more about it. In her free time, Adria writes novels, tutors children, and plays the viola.

Audrey Huynh has been coding in Python and working with machine learning for years. She is fascinated with solving problems through computer science and loves anything related to food, fantasy books, origami, astronomy, and K-pop. She also loves to learn new languages and cultures!

Abby Ho loves learning and exploring new areas surrounding tech and programming; she has basic knowledge of multiple programming languages such as python, c++, and java. Her hobbies include reading novels, listening to music, solving problems, being in nature, and running!

Delia Zuzarte is a student at Leigh High School who loves programming. She is very tech-savvy and enjoys doing Sudoku in her free time. During high school, she has been learning Java, Python, and HTML & CSS. Over the past year, she has worked on developing a web application for her volunteering club. Additionally, she loves teaching and using her skills to help introduce students to coding. She is very active in her community as she is a part of many STEM-related clubs and is also a clarinet & guitar teacher to elementary school students.

Mayukha Rajanala is interested in economics and she loves working with others to build a fun environment for everyone, while still getting goals achieved! Some of her passions include dancing, singing, and anything related to food:)
Masha Kuritsyn is a student at Leigh High School who is very passionate about math and computer science. Her interest started after she attended a hackathon with no prior coding experience, and it inspired her to explore programming further. She hopes to motivate other students and create a safe space for them to explore the world of code! Additionally, she loves art and graphic design, and also has experience in tutoring.
